Heat Press
Apply even and consistent heat to a variety of surfaces to transfer designs
Heat presses come in a variety of styles but all perform the same basic task. Apply heat to a design to transfer it onto to an object. The benefit of a heat press over a manual iron is even and consistent pressure, and often a larger surface area to press with.
Heat presses come in a variety of shapes and are often design for a specific purpose. The three most common varieties are the flat press, mug press, and hat press. There are other more unusual ones such as vacuum presses.
Some presses are single function, while others are multipurpose with swappable hot plates to give you more versatility. Generally single function presses will greatly excel at that one purpose, but at the expense of being locked to just one use. You’ll need to consider your application needs and space to decide which one is right for your space.
Some of the most common brands of heat presses today are:
- Cricut
- Geo Knight
- Pro World
